The Blue Jays can’t seem to go more than a few days without another player going to the disabled list. This time, Steve Pearce has been sidelined. The outfielder appeared to tweak his calf last night, after he hit a double. Shi Davidi has the news:

With Pearce out of action, Ezequiel Carrera is now guaranteed to have regular playing time. However, the Jays are now left with only three true outfielders, unless they want to rely more heavily on Chris Coghlan. While Leonel Campos has just been recalled, expect to see another move to bring up a fourth outfielder. That job will most likely go to Darrell Ceciliani.
Tonight’s game is only three hours away. The Jays will send Mike Bolsinger to the mound, while the Braves will counter with Bartolo Colon. Follow @bjaysrepublic for updates.
